Role Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level iOS Mobile Developer to design, develop, and support native mobile applications. This role focuses on delivering mobile solutions, optimizing user experiences across various devices, and supporting applications in production environments. This is a potential contract-to-hire position.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare specifications, design, develop, and support mobile applications, producing documentation that aligns with mobile development best practices.
- Assess and optimize application designs through reviews, evaluation tools, and analysis to ensure appropriate user experiences across phones and tablets.
- Create and perform unit testing across a spectrum of mobile devices.
- Build native mobile applications, support mobile systems in production, and resolve technical problems through effective troubleshooting.
- Prepare documentation for new development work while maintaining established development standards.
- Develop compelling user experiences that meet the needs of mobile users.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of native iOS development experience is required.
Education: A BS/MS degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Technical Skills:- Demonstrated knowledge of Swift and Swift UI programming languages, with the ability to learn new languages quickly.
- Familiarity with Apple iOS frameworks and SDKs.
- Experience in writing automated unit and UI tests.
- Experience with iterative development methodologies such as TDD or ATDD.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enterprise-level development experience is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to identify stakeholders, assess their needs, and manage their expectations through effective communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $40.00 and $50.00 per hour. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
