Project: Mobile platform modernization / backend infrastructure upgrades
Location: 100% Remote
Contract Length: 12+ Month Long term contract
Rate: Negotiable
We're seeking an experienced iOS Developer who can own features end-to-end and contribute to building scalable, high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate is technically strong, proactive, and comfortable explaining design decisions and past work.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional iOS development experience
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Xcode
- Experience with MVVM, SwiftUI, Combine, and reactive programming
- Solid understanding of iOS concurrency, thread safety, and memory management
- Hands-on experience identifying memory leaks using Xcode Instruments
- Proficient with Git/GitLab, including resolving merge conflicts
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS
- Dependency management experience with CocoaPods, Carthage, or SPM
- Automated testing experience (XCTest, unit and UI tests)
- Experience with authentication and OAuth concepts
- Knowledge of design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Generics) and Dependency Injection
- Strong debugging skills using crash reports, debuggers, and Xcode tools
- Experience with iOS local storage (UserDefaults, Core Data, etc.)
