Overview

Seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst / QA Tester to support enterprise-level applications in a complex, high-impact environment. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive requirements, design solutions, and ensure quality through structured testing.

This position is ideal for someone who can bridge business needs and technical execution, while also owning testing activities across system enhancements and defect resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements

• Lead requirements gathering and analysis for enterprise applications
• Facilitate workshops (JAD/JAR sessions) with stakeholders and technical teams
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows (as-is / to-be)
• Maintain requirements traceability matrix (RTM)

Design & Collaboration

• Translate business needs into clear functional designs
• Partner with developers, SMEs, and QA teams to ensure alignment
• Support system enhancements and change requests

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Track, document, and help triage defects
• Validate fixes and ensure quality delivery

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain system documentation and business process artifacts
• Provide status reporting and updates to stakeholders
• Support knowledge transfer, including documentation and walkthroughs

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or QA Tester
• Strong experience with:
• Requirements gathering and documentation
• JAD/JAR session facilitation
• Test planning and execution
• UAT coordination and support
• Experience working on enterprise applications (on-prem and/or cloud)
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government or large public-sector environments
• Exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) reporting or dashboards
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Experience working on large system modernization efforts
