Summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Digital Marketing Project Manager (Owned Channels / Marketing VMO) for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Insurance services clients.

This role can be remote, but candidates must be local to one of the following locations and available for onsite meetings as needed: New York, NY; Boston, MA; Holmdel, NJ; or Bethlehem, PA.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Project Manager to support execution across the Owned Channels team. This role functions as a Marketing VMO / operational lead, ensuring digital marketing initiatives move efficiently from intake through execution across email marketing, SEO, and landing page updates.

This is not a strategy or content creation role. Instead, this individual will drive project intake, requirements definition, feasibility assessment, timeline management, and cross-functional coordination across marketing, technology, and external partners.

The ideal candidate brings strong digital PM discipline, experience working in Salesforce/Pardot environments, and the ability to operate as the connective layer between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Email Campaign & Automation Execution
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of email campaigns including promotional, lifecycle, and transactional communications
  • Coordinate timelines and deliverables across Marketing, Data, Technology, QA, Creative, and Compliance teams
  • Oversee UAT and production testing, including test plan creation and execution coordination
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for deliverability, rendering, and performance
Cross-Channel Lifecycle Coordination
  • Support execution across channels including SMS, web personalization, and direct mail
  • Align messaging and timing across touchpoints with channel owners and stakeholders
  • Maintain integrated campaign calendars to ensure coordinated customer experiences
Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead intake, prioritization, and execution of marketing initiatives
  • Translate business requirements into actionable project plans
  • Facilitate communication across Product, Data, Analytics, Tech, Web, Creative, and Compliance teams
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives across lines of business
Quality Assurance & Optimization
  • Ensure QA across content accuracy, functionality, personalization logic, and compliance
  • Partner with analytics teams to identify optimization opportunities
  • Support A/B testing and campaign performance improvements
SEO Implementation
  • Manage execution of SEO initiatives delivered by external agencies
  • Translate SEO recommendations into technical requirements
  • Track dependencies, timelines, and implementation progress
  • Coordinate between agency and internal teams
Landing Page Workflow Management
  • Own intake and prioritization of landing page updates
  • Translate business needs into requirements for copy, design, and development
  • Manage timelines, revisions, approvals, and delivery
Cross-Functional Facilitation
  • Serve as liaison between Marketing, Creative, Tech, and external partners
  • Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, and execution tracking
  • Provide visibility into timelines, priorities, and capacity
  • Identify risks and proactively resolve blockers
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing Project Management / Marketing Operations
  • Hands-on experience with Workfront (or similar project management tools)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement)
  • Strong understanding of email marketing, segmentation, and automation workflows
  • Experience gathering both business and technical requirements
  • Proven ability to work with Martech, Web, and Development teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and negotiate timelines
