Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Schaumburg, Illinois. In this contract role, you will play a key part in managing and securing system environments while addressing user needs through effective troubleshooting and system administration. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a balanced mix of help desk and systems tasks.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Active Directory environments, including implementing security measures and optimizing server configurations.
Ensure compliance and security across Microsoft 365 platforms, including Intune, to protect organizational data.
Provide technical support and resolve user issues, handling a range of help desk tasks efficiently.
Administer and maintain Windows Server and Windows 10 systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate on the design and implementation of Citrix solutions for improved end-user computing experiences.
Utilize AWS technologies to support cloud-based infrastructure and services.
Develop and enforce group policies and local security policies to enhance system security.
Perform regular system audits and apply necessary updates to maintain compliance and functionality.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple platforms, ensuring timely resolution.
Assist in creating documentation and guidelines for system operations and user processes.
Requirements
Proven expertise in Active Directory management, including advanced security configurations.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and Intune administration.
Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Windows 10 systems.
Knowledge of Citrix technologies and their application in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud-based tools.
Ability to develop and enforce group policies and local security measures.
Excellent troubleshooting skills across diverse systems and platforms.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and users.
