We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and passionate Permanent Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be integral in ensuring the quality of our products and processes. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, quality control, and quality assurance within our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance our manufacturing processes and improve product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality control and assurance plans, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on product defects and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, drive improvements, and make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of manufacturing processes, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of all quality control and assurance activities.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality control and assurance standards, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement, quality control, and quality assurance.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and process engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
