IT Support Technician - Mobile Device Migration OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused
IT Support Technician to support a large-scale
mobile device migration project. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who enjoys hands-on technical work and delivering excellent end-user experiences.
You will assist employees across multiple business units in transitioning from legacy mobile devices to new ones, ensuring a smooth and efficient migration process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on support for mobile device migrations (primarily Android-to-Android, with some iOS support)
- Assist end users in transferring:
- Contacts
- Applications
- Photos
- Files and folders
- Troubleshoot and resolve device setup and migration issues in real time
- Support devices within a Microsoft Intune (MDM-managed) environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service to users with varying levels of technical experience
- Manage and document support requests using a ticketing system (Track-It)
- Partner with various internal departments to support device rollout efforts
- Ensure a positive and seamless end-user experience throughout the migration process
Required Skills- Experience in help desk or service desk support (entry-level or internship experience welcome)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with:
- Windows 10 / Windows environments
- Microsoft Office
- Ticketing systems
- Basic understanding of:
- Active Directory
- Desktop support
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with:
- Mobile device migrations
- Hardware installation and configuration
- Software installation and setup
- Exposure to Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as Microsoft Intune
- PC technician or desktop support experience

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Elkhorn, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.50/hr.
