Role Overview
We are seeking a lead Project Manager responsible for all aspects of project execution. This role involves managing large-scale energy infrastructure projects, ranging from $200 million to $1.5 billion. The Project Manager will direct all project-associated departments during the field execution phase and serve as the primary company representative with various regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of the project post-turnover for field execution, including staff and employee management, safety management, and contract administration.
- Provide strategic oversight of power generation and energy storage projects, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Manage project planning, cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance to meet objectives.
- Lead the commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness of new facilities.
- Act as the corporate liaison with local, national, and international agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Manage public relations and corporate communications at the site and community level.
- Lead engineering aspects from conception through execution, influencing design, procurement, and system integration.
- Driving will be a required part of this position's duties.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is required.
Experience: 15 or more years of experience overseeing multi-billion-dollar energy infrastructure projects is required, including high-level engineering and project management expertise.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with NYSERDA and EPC project management is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Per diem and mobilization/demobilization expenses are available for this position.
