Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of a project from field execution turnover to completion. This role involves managing large-scale projects, with budgets ranging from 200 million to 1.5 billion dollars. The Project Manager will oversee various project-associated departments and act as the primary company representative with external agencies during the execution phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of project execution, including staff, safety, and contract administration.
- Oversee project management planning, cost management, time management, and quality control to ensure project milestones are met.
- Direct the commissioning and start-up of the facility, ensuring operational readiness.
- Serve as the liaison for public relations and corporate communications at the site and community level.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure scope compliance and effective risk management.
- Act as the company representative with local, national, and international agencies and regulating entities.
- Ensure all driving requirements are met, including holding a valid, non-restricted driver's license.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience managing engineering and construction projects with responsibility for budget oversight and execution.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $55.00 and $65.00 per hour. Please note that this assignment is eligible for worker furlough, which typically coincides with select national holidays.
