Job#: 3040218 Job Description: Sr. IT Project Manager
Location: Bothell, Washington (Partial Remote)
Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a skilled Sr. IT Project Manager to help establish and mature a growing IT Project Management Office (PMO). This role is critical for driving structure, accountability, and risk management across a rapidly expanding portfolio of enterprise initiatives. This position requires a self-sufficient, execution-focused project manager who can lead with minimal oversight, drive disciplined project governance, and elevate the overall maturity of the PMO. The immediate focus will be on the delivery of a GxP-validated NetSuite ERP Phase II implementation, which is essential for upcoming commercial launch activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of the NetSuite Phase II implementation (Inventory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procure-to-Pay), ensuring accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality against the commercial-launch timeline.
- Lead and manage a complex portfolio of IT projects, with a focus on high-priority programs, and drive the execution of multiple workstreams.
- Facilitate project meetings with a clear focus on decision-making, risk identification, and accountability, ensuring all projects maintain clarity on deliverables and milestones.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, managing escalations to leadership as needed.
- Ensure project alignment with GxP and SOX compliance requirements, incorporating validation and compliance-driven milestones into project schedules.
- Direct vendors and system integrators, holding them to milestones and quality standards, and serve as the single point of escalation.
- Apply and strengthen PMO frameworks, including project tracking, reporting, and governance models, while modeling audit-ready project management discipline.
- Lead cross-functional alignment and stakeholder communication, including running steering committee meetings and driving organizational change management.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience managing IT and business-systems projects end-to-end, including full-lifecycle ERP implementations.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects in a regulated GxP environment, with a working command of Computer System Validation (CSV) or CSA, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity (ALCOA+).
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent enterprise IT projects with ownership of integrated schedules, budgets, risk management, and vendor management.
- Experience working within or alongside SOX-regulated environments.
- Proficiency with enterprise project management tools for scheduling and reporting (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project).
- Strong facilitation and executive communication skills.
- PMP certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite ERP implementation experience, particularly with Inventory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procure-to-Pay modules in an outsourced model.
- Experience in the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry, ideally supporting a first commercial launch.
- Familiarity with data warehousing projects (e.g., Snowflake), ServiceNow, CRM systems (e.g., Agiloft), and commercial serialization solutions (e.g., TraceLink).
- Experience standing up or maturing a PMO and its related governance processes.
- Familiarity with paperless validation platforms (e.g., Kneat GX) and controlled document systems.
- Exposure to integration platforms (iPaaS) and change management methodologies.
