StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-caliber Environmental Compliance Auditor to champion regulatory integrity for a premier leader in the national food production landscape. This is a critical mandate focused on safeguarding operational excellence and ensuring that large-scale processing facilities meet the highest standards of environmental stewardship. You will serve as the primary technical authority for site audits, driving the resolution of complex compliance challenges and fostering a culture of accountability. If you are a technical expert looking to influence the environmental footprint of a top-tier industry player, this role offers the platform to execute sophisticated oversight strategies and lead meaningful corrective initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Orchestrate comprehensive environmental compliance programs across multiple production facilities to ensure seamless adherence to all governing mandates.

  • Execute rigorous site inspections and diagnostic audits, tracking findings with precision to guarantee total operational transparency.

  • Synthesize corrective action plans to remediate code violations, serving as the lead technical consultant for resolving production and quality-related bottlenecks.

  • Monitor the lifecycle of all environmental permits, licenses, and applications, ensuring every record aligns with current legal and regulatory benchmarks.

  • Engineer internal operational policies and procedural frameworks that standardize compliance across the entire business unit.

  • Empower internal stakeholders through specialized technical training, enhancing organizational competency and commitment to environmental protocols.

  • Maintain and optimize proprietary compliance tracking systems, delivering high-level monthly updates to leadership regarding program status and audit outcomes.

  • Navigate the intricacies of local, state, and federal regulations to provide proactive guidance and mitigate risk during ongoing facility projects.

What You Bring

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a relevant technical discipline is required.

  • Industry Expertise: 4–8 years of dedicated experience within the meat, poultry, or protein processing sectors.

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep working knowledge of 40 CFR regulations and a current Wastewater license.

  • Regulatory Command: A comprehensive understanding of the federal, state, and local regulatory landscape governing industrial food production.

  • Audit Acumen: Proven ability to identify discrepancies and architect effective, long-term solutions for technical and environmental issues.

  • Mobility: Flexibility to engage in occasional travel to support regional facility requirements.
