Controls Engineer | Newaygo, MI

Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Newaygo that are seeking Controls Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, control narratives, and other technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, maintenance, IT) to optimize system performance.
• Perform root cause analysis for system failures and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in the commissioning and start-up of new equipment and production lines.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all control system designs and modifications.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel.
