Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems, including schematics, software code, and operational procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis of automation-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance teams on automation systems.
- Research and evaluate new automation technologies and industry best practices.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, or robotics within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA development.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP).
- Experience with vision systems, robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, Universal Robots), or other advanced automation technologies.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with Ignition SCADA or similar HMI/SCADA platforms.
- Familiarity with ISA-88 and other industry standards for batch control.
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior engineers or technicians.
- Experience with vision systems (e.g., Keyence, Cognex) for quality control or guidance.
- PLC programming experience with Rockwell Automation (Studio 5000) or Siemens (TIA Portal).
