Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new applications and features.
- Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and systems.
- Conduct training for end-users on new applications and system updates.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new manufacturing technologies.
- Optimize existing applications for performance and efficiency improvements.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of automation, robotics, PLCs, and industrial control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with PLCs and industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in a programming language like Python or C++.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
