Rate: $66-$80\hr



Overview


We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Program Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives within a financial services environment, with a strong focus on retirement and wealth management programs.

This is a hands-on role requiring a seasoned professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, drive execution, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.



Key Responsibilities



  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects and programs ($2M $15M+)
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for project planning, execution, and delivery
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and reporting
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints; implement mitigation strategies
  • Drive project governance, status reporting, and executive-level communications
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Support organizational change management and readiness activities
  • Contribute to and follow established delivery methodologies, standards, and tools



Required Qualifications



  • 5+ years of project/program management experience
  • Strong experience within retirement services, wealth management, insurance, or financial services
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing project budgets typically ranging from $2M to $15M+
  • Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with Planview, Clarity, or similar project portfolio management (PPM) tools
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Experience working with organizations such as:

    • Retirement services providers
    • Insurance and financial institutions

  • Strong understanding of enterprise program delivery frameworks
