What We're Looking For
\n
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with deep expertise in turning centers with live tooling and sub-spindles, as well as multi-tasking turning centers with B-axis heads. This role involves producing complex, tight-tolerance components for aerospace and advanced engineering applications.
\n
The ideal candidate is comfortable machining a wide range of materials (including aluminum, stainless, superalloys, and titanium), interpreting complex engineering drawings, and executing precise setups for challenging geometries. OKUMA experience is a plus, and aerospace experience in an AS9100 environment is a plus.
\n
This is a hands-on role for a machinist who takes pride in accuracy, process discipline, and delivering flight-critical quality parts.
\n

---The Work You ll Be Doing
\n
In this role, you will:
\n
\n- Set up and operate multi-axis and multi-tasking CNC mills and turning centres to produce tight-tolerance aerospace components
\n- Read, interpret, and work from complex customer drawings, specifications, and work instructions
\n- Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 to ensure parts meet dimensional and geometric requirements
\n- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using standard shop measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gages, etc.)
\n- Work closely with engineering, programming, and quality teams to troubleshoot dimensional or process issues
\n- Identify and address tooling, fixturing, or process opportunities to improve part quality and cycle time
\n- Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow all AS9100 quality and safety standards
