What You'll Do

As a Technology Support Analyst II at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, you'll play a hands-on role supporting attorneys and business professionals by keeping their technology running smoothly and reliably. Embedded within the Information Technology team and reporting to the Technology Support Manager, this role is critical to day-to-day operations-combining technical problem-solving, customer service, and collaboration across teams. This position is based in our New York office and requires on-site presence.
The schedule for this position is:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Deliver front line technical support: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware, operating systems, and core business applications to keep users productive.
Resolve complex issues efficiently: Diagnose technical problems using structured troubleshooting methods, escalating appropriately to achieve the best resolution.
Support collaboration and conferencing: Set up and troubleshoot audio, video, and presentation technology in conference rooms, including Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams meetings.
Maintain excellent client service: Provide prompt, professional, and courteous support to attorneys, staff, and clients at all levels of the firm.
Document and follow process: Accurately log, track, and manage incidents using the firm's ticketing system, while documenting solutions and new processes.
Collaborate across teams: Work closely with firmwide technology teams to share knowledge, assist with troubleshooting, and support technology rollouts.
Provide on site and off site support: Assist with remote trial setups, off site meetings, and special events, including occasional overtime and participation in firmwide maintenance windows.
What You'll Bring
Education or certification: A background in Computer Science or a related technical qualification; A+ and/or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Relevant experience: 4-6 years of technology support experience in a professional services environment; law firm experience is preferred.
Technical expertise: Strong working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365 (M365), remote computing tools, mobile device support, and desktop troubleshooting.
Collaboration tools knowledge: Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Voice over IP (VoIP) systems, and conference room technology.
Service mindset: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a consistent focus on client service and professionalism.
Composure under pressure: The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and stay calm in high pressure or time sensitive situations.

Compensation
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in New York. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary. Compensation Range:
New York: $76,000-$105,000
