The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a visionary Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer to fortify the security architecture of a major enterprise within the highly regulated financial sector. In this role, you will act as a primary defender of sensitive assets, neutralizing internal and external threats by engineering robust identity controls. This is a high-impact engagement designed for a technical expert who thrives on solving complex security challenges in a hybrid-cloud environment, ensuring that high-level protection and operational efficiency coexist seamlessly.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and sustain large-scale CyberArk deployments to safeguard critical identities across a diverse corporate landscape.

  • Orchestrate the full lifecycle of credentials, including automated rotation, secure vaulting, and rigorous session auditing.

  • Engineer secure secret management workflows utilizing Azure Key Vault to protect application keys, certificates, and sensitive data.

  • Synthesize security protocols within CI/CD pipelines, embedding PAM capabilities directly into DevOps lifecycles to enable security at speed.

  • Drive automation initiatives by developing custom PowerShell scripts and leveraging REST APIs to streamline onboarding and access management.

  • Champion the principle of least privilege by designing resilient integrations that span both on-premises infrastructure and Azure cloud environments.

  • Mitigate organizational risk by ensuring all access controls strictly adhere to stringent financial industry regulations and internal audit standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement sophisticated security controls that support, rather than hinder, development velocity.

What You Bring

  • Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on PAM engineering experience within a massive, regulated corporate environment (technical execution focus rather than high-level advisory).

  • Platform Mastery: Advanced proficiency in CyberArk platforms, encompassing both the deployment of new features and ongoing operational optimization.

  • Cloud Proficiency: Deep familiarity with Azure services, Entra ID, and hybrid infrastructure management (Windows/Linux/Active Directory).

  • Programming Skills: Strong command of PowerShell and REST API integration for the purpose of infrastructure automation.

  • Industry Knowledge: Proven background navigating the compliance and security nuances of the financial services sector.

  • DevSecOps Mindset: Practical experience merging security tools into modern DevOps platforms and cloud-native architectures.

  • Certifications: A CyberArk CDE (Cloud DevOps Extensions) certification is highly preferred and serves as a gateway for fully remote flexibility.

  • Self-Direction: The ability to provide immediate technical value with minimal transition time or oversight.
