Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills to support a large-scale Physical Access Control System (PACS) implementation. This role involves requirements gathering, business process analysis, organizational change management, and alignment with BABOK standards as part of a comprehensive business analysis framework. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze proposed changes, assess project impacts, and define business requirements for PACS implementation.
Lead and support requirements elicitation sessions, documentation, and communication across stakeholders.
Perform organizational change management activities and develop business process maps.
Learn PACS functionality and validate that system capabilities meet documented business requirements through a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
Participate in testing activities and support communication planning for end-user adoption.
Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and ongoing support to project teams.
Identify opportunities to improve existing business processes and contribute to future project scoping.
Present findings and recommendations to business and executive leadership.
Develop business and system requirements, use cases/user stories, workflow diagrams, and fit/gap analyses.
Translate stakeholder needs into structured, testable requirements.
Maintain deep understanding of business processes, associated IT systems, and PACS integrations.
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, SMEs, and IT teams.
Gather information from diverse sources to support planning, analysis, and requirements development.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field (Experience may substitute for degree).
Minimum 5+ years as a Business Analyst supporting physical access system implementations.
Experience with 3+ PACS implementations or equivalent related experience.
2+ years understanding terminology related to servers, networking, and OT system integrations.
Proven experience facilitating complex requirements sessions and maintaining full requirements traceability.
Hands-on experience owning RTMs across planning, testing, and delivery phases.
Strong technical writing skills with ability to create SOPs, process documentation, and operational artifacts.
Experience supporting vendor design validation, UAT planning, and stakeholder signoff.
Strong written and verbal communication skills across both technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with BABOK standards and business analysis methodologies.
Experience with Prosci or ACMP standard organizational change management practices.
Experience developing balanced scorecard performance metrics.
Experience with large enterprise IT transformation or security-related projects.
Experience working with executive leadership in complex organizations.
