Job#: 3032844 Job Description: Product Manager - Partnerships & Marketplaces
Position Summary
We are seeking a
Product Manager to drive high-impact initiatives across our
Marketplaces & Partnerships domain, supporting a senior product leader who owns overall strategy and long-term vision. In this role, you will translate strategy into execution by owning defined product areas and workstreams across partner-facing experiences and integrations that expand assortment, reach, and customer value through third-party partners.
You will operate in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment, supporting multiple partners simultaneously while balancing onboarding timelines, technical integration needs, operational readiness, and end-customer experience quality across multiple regions. You will collaborate closely with Business Development, Legal, Finance, Operations, Customer Support, Engineering, Data/Analytics, and external partner teams to deliver scalable capabilities and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute against product strategy by owning defined product areas and workstreams across partner onboarding, catalog and offer integrations, order and fulfillment handoffs, and partner performance management.
- Partner with Business Development, Operations, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Engineering, and Analytics to prioritize outcomes and make informed trade-offs across customer experience, speed to launch, and scalability.
- Operate effectively across multiple concurrent partner workstreams, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and communications to keep launches on track.
- Use AI tools and coding assistants to accelerate delivery (e.g., drafting PRDs and user stories, exploring data, prototyping workflows, and producing technical documentation), while exercising sound judgment on cost vs. value, quality standards, and when human-in-the-loop review is required.
This role has high exposure across the digital organization and requires strong leadership and influence, along with the ability to communicate a clear product vision to both business and technical stakeholders.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Partner with senior product leadership to shape near-term priorities and translate Marketplace and Partnership strategy into a clearly sequenced execution plan, owning delivery for assigned product areas and partner workstreams.
- Lead partner onboarding from discovery through launch, including requirements definition, solution design, operational readiness, go-to-market coordination, and post-launch optimization.
- Work with engineering and partner technical teams to deliver scalable integrations (e.g., APIs, feeds, webhooks, and data exchange), including authentication, data quality, and system observability.
- Own the end-to-end partner experience across key journeys such as catalog ingestion, pricing and promotions, inventory and availability, order routing, cancellations and returns, customer service handoffs, and settlement considerations in partnership with Finance.
- Establish and maintain partner operating rhythms including status reporting, escalation paths, release planning, and shared success metrics.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs across multiple partners and internal stakeholders; proactively surface risks, dependencies, and resourcing needs in a dynamic environment.
- Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs (e.g., onboarding time, catalog health, in-stock rate, order defect rate, cancellation/return rate, customer contact rate, and partner SLA adherence) to drive data-informed decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement through experimentation, repeatable playbooks, and automation that reduce manual effort and improve partner scalability.
- Apply AI-assisted delivery as a repeatable practice to increase product and engineering throughput, defining guardrails for privacy, security, data handling, and appropriate human oversight for high-risk or customer-impacting changes.
- Create clear documentation (PRDs, user stories, process flows) and communicate product decisions and trade-offs to business, technical, and external partner audiences.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product management (or equivalent), delivering digital products across the full development lifecycle, ideally within ecommerce, marketplace, platform, or partner/integration domains.
- Experience building and scaling partner-facing products, such as onboarding workflows, developer or integration experiences, APIs/feeds, and SLAs, with direct interaction with external partners or vendors.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple concurrent initiatives with strong attention to quality and communication.
- Strong cross-functional leadership with the ability to influence Business, Operations, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Customer Support, and Engineering teams without direct authority.
- Solid understanding of technical integration concepts (APIs, data feeds, webhooks, data quality, monitoring/alerts) and ability to translate constraints into strong partner and customer experiences.
- Analytical and metrics-driven; skilled in defining KPIs, building or interpreting dashboards, and using data to prioritize and measure success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting product strategy, priorities, and trade-offs to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile product development environments; proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and common collaboration platforms.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools and coding agents to support product delivery, with a clear understanding of risks (hallucination, privacy/security, IP, data leakage) and mitigation strategies such as testing, validation, approvals, and human-in-the-loop review.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience); MBA preferred but not required.
- 3-7 years of product management experience with a track record of launching effective products for large-scale, transactional digital platforms.
- Consumer-focused online product experience preferred.
