The OpportunityWe are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Paw Paw that are seeking skilled Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations and quality issues.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to implement new processes and product introductions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and materials to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Green Belt certification) for process optimization.
- Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and data analysis tools (e.g., SPC, JMP, Minitab).
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and P&ID development.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, or equivalent statistical software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with automation technologies and their application in manufacturing processes.
- Project management experience, particularly in implementing new processes or equipment.
