Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Mattawan that are seeking skilled Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, and work instructions.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor process performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Evaluate and select new equipment, technologies, and materials for process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all process activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Green Belt certification) for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and CAD software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting technical information.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python) for statistical process control and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with automation technologies and Industry 4.0 principles
• Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams
• SAP or other ERP system experience related to production planning and materials management
