Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations and quality issues.
- Design and execute experiments to validate process improvements and new product introductions.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Production, Quality) to ensure successful process scale-up and transfer.
- Monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and training to production personnel on process-related matters.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and CAD tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green or Black Belt certification preferred)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Python, R) for statistical process control and root cause analysis
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with automation technologies and Industry 4.0 concepts
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or equivalent experience managing technical projects
