Role Overview:This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Front End Web Developer to design and deliver modern, user-focused web experiences within a robust, multi-site Drupal environment. In this role, you'll partner closely with UX/UI, design, and marketing teams to translate business and user needs into responsive, accessible, and high-performing digital solutions at scale. Key Responsibilities:- Translate wireframes, comps, and requirements into production-ready, responsive markup
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, writers, and marketing partners on wireframes, prototypes, and requirements
- Build reusable components and user-facing features to enhance engagement and functionality
- Design, develop, and integrate front-end Drupal modules within a multi-site environment
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and user manuals
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices, quality, and consistency
- Enhance existing web projects using clean, semantic, reusable code and libraries
- Optimize performance across browsers and devices
- Present solutions and designs to non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to and maintain web development standards and guidelines
Qualifications:- 5+ years of hands-on front-end development experience
- Required: Drupal, JavaScript (ES6+), AJAX, jQuery, Twig, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS
- Strong experience with responsive and mobile-first design
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
- Deep understanding of web standards, information design, accessibility, usability, and SEO best practices
- Nice to have: Financial or government experience, PHP and Drupal theme layer knowledge, Git/Bitbucket, CMS and template development, Jira/Confluence/Wrike, Agile exposure, Adobe Creative Suite, animation libraries (GSAP), API integrations, design systems, automated testing tools, Google Analytics/GTM, and Drupal back-end knowledge
- Portfolio or samples of previous work strongly preferred
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $62.49 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
