The Mission

StaffRight Associates is spearheading an exclusive search for a high-caliber Data Associate - Drug Discovery to serve as a pivotal link between raw scientific output and advanced machine learning deployment. The objective is to architect and maintain the integrity of massive, heterogeneous datasets that underpin molecular simulation and pharmaceutical innovation.

You will be tasked with the systematic organization of scientific information, ensuring that high-performance computing outputs are effectively synthesized into structured repositories that drive discovery at the atomic scale.


Core Technical Objectives

  • Orchestrate the ingestion and curation of large-scale scientific datasets, ensuring seamless integration into the machine learning pipeline.

  • Engineer sophisticated data structures that reconcile information from diverse sources, maintaining high-fidelity metadata and comprehensive data provenance.

  • Formalize data discovery protocols by implementing rigorous cataloging standards, enabling rapid retrieval and cross-functional utilization of research assets.

  • Validate the structural integrity of datasets within a high-performance Linux environment, utilizing automated scripts to maintain system-wide consistency.

  • Optimize existing data workflows through the strategic application of Python and SQL to enhance the Goal-Execution-Mapping of the research team.


Candidate DNA

  • Architectural Philosophy: A meticulous approach to data hygiene and structural alignment, prioritizing precision and long-term system resilience over temporary fixes.

  • Technical Fluency: Deep familiarity with the Linux ecosystem and a functional command of Python and SQL for data manipulation and relational database management.

  • Scale Competency: Proven ability to handle high-volume, high-velocity datasets, with an innate understanding of how metadata schemas impact the scalability of scientific discovery.

  • Collaborative Rigor: A commitment to a high-density intellectual environment, contributing to a culture of collective problem-solving and technical excellence.


Academic & Research Pedigree

  • Foundational Education: Completion of an undergraduate or advanced degree (Master’s preferred) in a STEM discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Bioengineering).

  • Mathematical Rigor: A demonstrated ability to apply quantitative logic to complex biological datasets and computational simulations.

  • Domain Expertise: Prior exposure to scientific computing or laboratory data management is highly advantageous, specifically where precision and provenance are paramount.
