Lead / Senior Consultant Utility Billing & Choice Workstreams (Mainframe & Jira Delivery) - Remote - 68146
Pay Rate : $50 - $55/hr
We have an urgent need for a Lead / Senior Consultant Billing & Choice Workstreams based in Remote, USA, supporting critical utility billing operations and AEP delivery across a dynamic enterprise environment.
In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end delivery across Billing and Choice workstreams, ensuring seamless execution of AEP activities and ongoing operations. You will lead requirement analysis, tracking, and validation using Jira, while coordinating across onshore SMEs, FSAs, and offshore development and testing teams. The role involves executing testing flight activities for key regions, performing annual load processes, and ensuring readiness for production releases. You will be responsible for reviewing and validating billing-related requirements, identifying gaps and dependencies, managing SIT and UAT cycles, and ensuring successful signoff and production migrations. Additionally, you will act as a primary escalation point, oversee offshore delivery quality, and ensure compliance with release standards while proactively managing risks and timelines.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in mainframe systems, including batch processing and utility billing platforms, along with deep knowledge of billing and choice workstreams. Hands-on experience in requirement analysis and task management using Jira is essential. Strong understanding of testing lifecycles including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment processes is required. Candidates should possess excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, along with the ability to guide offshore teams, manage escalations, and ensure high-quality delivery within tight timelines.
