Description:

Position: Software Engineer II / ETL Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

Duration: 10+ month contract

***W2 Contract***No C2C***

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in ETL development and data engineering.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL (Snowflake, Oracle) including tuning, stored procedures, and database objects.
3+ years of Python development experience building complex data pipelines.
Experience with Talend or similar ETL tools for heterogeneous pipelines.
Proficiency in shell scripting for ELT pipelines (Python or Snowpark).
Hands-on experience with Autosys JILs or Airflow for orchestration.
Strong knowledge of data warehouse modeling, enterprise data integration, and architecture patterns.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git/Bitbucket), and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with Jira for project tracking and updates.

Preferred Skills

Background in financial services or risk management.
Experience with cloud-based data warehouse applications.
AWS cloud certifications are a plus.
