Analytics and Reporting Lead

Role Summary
This role involves leading and managing a Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics team to deliver impactful data solutions across the organization. The individual will oversee the development of reporting tools, support data governance initiatives, and drive analytics strategies that enable data-driven decision-making. Combining technical expertise with strong leadership skills, this position is pivotal in fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation in analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute analytics strategies aligned with organizational goals, overseeing the delivery of dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of analytics professionals, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.
• Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to best practices for metadata management, data lineage, and data quality.
• Ensure the security, accuracy, and compliance of enterprise analytics assets, implementing data quality controls and access policies.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective analytics solutions.
• Design scalable data architectures supporting efficient data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to optimize analytics processes and improve data architecture through best practices and modern methodologies.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, evaluating their potential to enhance business outcomes.
• Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment on priorities, project timelines, and strategic initiatives.
• Promote data literacy throughout the organization, supporting user enablement and developing documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data management.
• Proven leadership experience supporting BI initiatives and managing analytics teams.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, data warehouses, and modern analytics architectures.
• Skilled in developing dashboards and visualizations using enterprise BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Experience with data governance, data quality management, and metadata practices.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and analytical data structures.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts, with the ability to communicate their benefits for business insights.
• Effective project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of conveying technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Publishing Pay Range: $45.00 - $49.00 hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
