About the RoleThis role supports Financial Crimes Risk Management applications by ensuring accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data and reporting. The position combines data analysis, reporting, product support, and collaboration with business and technology teams to deliver actionable insights and maintain critical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily reporting reviews and analyze exceptions to identify and resolve data issues
- Maintain and update data input mappings, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
- Support Product Owner responsibilities, including backlog refinement and requirement definition
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing for system enhancements and fixes
- Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to define and implement solutions
- Develop and run SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data
- Create reports and visualizations to communicate insights and trends
- Source, integrate, and validate data from multiple business units
- Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, or application support
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing and optimizing queries
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (business and technology)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and deliverables
- Experience working in virtual or distributed team environments
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in financial services or financial crimes risk management
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and standards
- Experience contributing to system/process improvements or re-engineering initiatives
- Ability to act as a liaison or internal consultant between business and technology teams
- Experience coordinating communication and workflow across stakeholders
Education Requirements- No specific degree required (relevant experience preferred)
