Role OverviewWe are seeking a Systems Operations Engineering Consultant to support complex, large-scale initiatives with significant organizational impact. In this role, you will evaluate and solve multi-dimensional engineering challenges, often involving ambiguous or unprecedented conditions. You will apply deep technical expertise, sound judgment, and a strong understanding of systems engineering practices, compliance requirements, and enterprise policies.
This position requires strong strategic collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performing systems.
Minimum Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, or equivalent combination of training, education, and hands-on work experience.
- 4+ years of experience using observability and monitoring platforms, including:
- BigPanda, ThousandEyes, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk Observability, AppDynamics
- 4+ years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), specifically supporting incident, problem, and change management.
- 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Kubernetes, with strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- 3+ years supporting Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) functions in production environments.
- 3+ years working with cloud-native architectures and high-availability systems using platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or Microsoft Azure.
- 3+ years of experience in automation and scripting using Ansible Tower, including development and maintenance of playbooks.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working within Agile / Scrum development environments.
- Strong skills in project management and stakeholder communication.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
