Description
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in South Jordan, Utah. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining robust Python/Django-based applications, while contributing to front-end development and UI enhancements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on impactful projects leveraging modern technologies.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python/Django applications hosted on AWS platforms.
Build and enhance user interfaces using Bootstrap and modern front-end development practices.
Manage version control and collaboration using Git repositories.
Deploy and troubleshoot Python applications using AWS tools, including Elastic Beanstalk.
Optimize UI components and develop dashboards and reports to align with project goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing improvements and new feature development.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experiences.
Work with database-driven applications, including creating and maintaining stored procedures.
Utilize Cloudflare in conjunction with AWS hosting for application performance and security.
Contribute to long-term planning and development of UI-heavy features and reporting tools.
Requirements
5+ years of experience with Python and Django development, with the ability to work independently.
Proficient in using AWS services, including Elastic Beanstalk, for application hosting and management.
Strong expertise in Bootstrap for responsive UI development.
Hands-on experience with Git for version control and team collaboration.
Familiarity with Cloudflare for optimizing application performance and security.
Experience working with database-driven applications, including queries and stored procedures.
Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
Proven ability to build dashboards, reports, and user interface features effectively.
