Job Description:
Apex System is seeking a Single Sign-On (SSO) Production Support Engineer for a large financial client. The position is a 12-24 mo. Contract position that requires candidates to sit on a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite/2 days remote) in one of the below locations. The position does require a candidates to be comfortable working an on-call rotation monthly. The position is focused around Tier 2 support for SSO platforms and requires an in depth knowledge of SSO technologies and protocols. Further details regarding the position are including below.

SSO Production Support Engineer position is responsible for managing incidents around the SSO platforms and integrated applications. This position will be response for diagnosing and troubleshooting various issues within the client applications as reporting by monitoring tools and ticketing systems. The position requires a strong knowledge of SSO tools, authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO, SAML, etc), an in depth knowledge of SSO integrations and experience troubleshooting various points of failure within the environment.

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of information security applications and systems experience
- 2+ years of experience in installing, configuring, and supporting SSO platforms such as Okta or Ping
- Demonstrated ability supporting applications in a distributed, highly available, mission-critical environment
- Proficient in Agent Based, Web Based and Federated Authentication and Authorization standards
- Strong hands-on experience with industry standard SSO technologies and protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO, SAML 2.0)
- Experience utilizing monitoring tools (ex: Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, etc) and performing investigations with the logs.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory services, MFA, Risk based authentication and privileged access management
- Familiarity with deployments and integration of IAM solutions within the cloud (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
- Knowledge and understanding of complex enterprise systems and frameworks including frontends, middleware, services layer, database, backend and downstream interfaces
- Knowledge and understanding of technical writing: storage, middleware, or virtualization
- Strong communication ability and experience working on bridge and triage calls
- Knowledge of Kubernetes containerization strategy
