Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for applications, configurations, and procedures.
• Participate in the selection, testing, and deployment of new manufacturing technologies.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Train end-users on new applications and system functionalities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative technical solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with a specific CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD Electrical, CATIA)
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus TCP)
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., Ansys, COMSOL, Rockwell Arena)
• Proficiency in a scripting language for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
