Graphic Designer

Description

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves creating visually appealing designs that align with brand standards and effectively communicate ideas across various digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of design principles to every project.

Responsibilities:
Develop engaging graphics and layouts for digital and print media, including advertisements, brochures, and banner ads.
Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver to produce high-quality designs.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs align with brand guidelines and effectively convey desired messaging.
Create and maintain design templates that enhance efficiency and consistency across projects.
Implement design controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Adapt designs to fit various platforms and formats, ensuring optimal visual presentation.
Stay updated on design trends and incorporate relevant innovations into projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Provide creative input and recommendations to enhance branding efforts.
Review and revise designs based on feedback to achieve the desired outcome.

Requirements

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver.
Strong understanding of design principles and visual communication strategies.
Experience creating designs for both digital and print platforms.
Ability to develop brand-aware graphics that effectively communicate intended messages.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to design controls.
Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and ability to apply them effectively.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
