The OpportunityWe are collaborating with multiple companies in Fremont seeking experienced Embedded Systems Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test embedded software for manufacturing equipment.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate embedded systems into new products.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing embedded systems in production environments.
- Implement and maintain communication protocols for industrial automation.
- Develop and execute test plans for embedded systems to ensure quality and reliability.
- Optimize firmware for performance, power consumption, and memory usage in manufacturing devices.
- Provide technical support and training for manufacturing teams on embedded systems.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for microcontroller programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
- Demonstrated ability in hardware-software integration and debugging for production systems.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) beyond basic implementations.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
- Demonstrated ability to work with and troubleshoot existing legacy systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for embedded systems.
- Experience with simulation and modeling tools for system design and verification.
