Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter to design, develop, maintain, and test ETL solutions in an agile environment. The candidate will collaborate with development teams and business partners to deliver data integration and warehousing solutions that meet defined requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in ETL design for new and changing mappings and workflows, and prepare technical specifications.


• Create ETL Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, and Worklets using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, with corresponding documentation.


• Design and build integrations supporting standard data warehousing objects including type-2 dimensions, aggregations, and star schemas.


• Perform source system analysis and data profiling as required.


• Develop, implement, and maintain job schedules for automated ETL processing with error handling, notification, and logging.


• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures.


• Parse flat files and implement complex transformation logic to process data.


• Collaborate within Agile teams and deliver work products with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of strong Informatica ETL experience, including Informatica PowerCenter 10.x and 9.x.


• Proficiency in Oracle and Exadata with advanced SQL and PL/SQL.


• Experience extracting data from DB2 and Oracle sources.


• Strong Unix skills, including shell scripting and conversion of TCL scripts to shell for file preprocessing.


• Hands-on experience with Autosys job scheduling.


• Experience with fact and dimension data models and type-2 dimensions.


• Ability to design, implement, and maintain custom or structured ETL processes.


• Financial domain experience.


• Effective communication and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Informatica Cloud.


• Background with star schema design and aggregation strategies.
