Role Overview
This position is for a Technical Program Manager who will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of defined deliverables for a regulatory project. The role requires engagement from multiple teams and ensures that execution meets client expectations in terms of functionality, quality, and timeline. The individual will manage programs and projects with significant impact, driving and tracking execution activities to support the organization's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the delivery of defined project deliverables, engaging with multiple teams as required.
- Facilitate project routines such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, and change controls.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide status updates on delivery, risks, and schedule to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure project execution aligns with deliverable requirements and complies with Enterprise Change Management standards.
- Adhere to program and project management standards, including deliverables, tollgates, and system of record updates.
- Provide guidance to execution project managers and deliver program updates to senior leaders.
- Manage program budget, including forecasting, variance commentary, and resource allocations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in program management, including delivery, financials, reporting, escalations, and scrum methodology.
- In-depth understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk, Market Risk, Regulatory reporting, and Fixed Income products (Rates, Equities, FX, Commodities).
- Knowledge of Prime Brokerage, Collateral, and Margin processes.
- Ability to quickly understand data process flows across various teams.
- Capacity to develop and implement effective governance structures and identify risk and control solutions.
- Proficiency in communicating, influencing, and negotiating across the organization.
- Ability to analyze present-state gaps and facilitate the implementation of future-state approaches.
- Knowledge of end-to-end business processes integrated into program planning and decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience managing diverse programs and projects.
- Experience running governance for large-scale technology programs.
- Experience working iteratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to connect across groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to deliver effective presentations.
- Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively.
