Senior Product Owner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Senior Product Owner.

Summary:
The Product Manager will partner closely with business stakeholders, the Senior Manager, developers, and the UI/UX team to drive requirements and deliverables from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
* Write and manage detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
* Collaborate closely with UI/UX to ensure user-centered solutions
* Prioritize the product backlog and translate complex business needs into actionable development work
* Serve as the primary liaison between the business and development teams, as there is no dedicated Business Analyst or Project Manager on the team

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong Product Manager experience with a heavy emphasis on business analysis and requirements gathering
* Exceptional user story writing skills-this is the biggest need for the team
* Experience translating complex business logic into clear, well-defined requirements
* Experience working on large, enterprise-level or highly complex initiatives
* Corporate safety experience is a plus but not required
* Comfortable working in a lean environment where the Product Manager wears multiple hats and drives execution
* Strong BA background (or BA who has grown into a Product Manager).
* Strong experience writing user stories and managing work in Jira.
* Excellent organization skills.
* Strong facilitation skills-able to command meetings and keep discussions focused
* Comfortable working in a lean environment with significant ownership
* Excellent soft skills and stakeholder management
* Able to guide conversations with senior leadership involved

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
