Role Overview
This role supports customer communications for mid-sized and large business clients. The focus is on service messaging, which involves informing customers about service changes, impacts, and required actions. The position combines content execution with technical support, including list pulling, campaign setup, and reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute customer communication initiatives by writing, editing, and sending service messages to business customers.
- Manage and execute email campaigns using tools like Eloqua or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Handle technical tasks such as pulling and comparing lists from data sources using Excel functions like VLOOKUP and formulas.
- Develop and follow step-by-step documentation for campaign setup and execution processes.
- Track and report on communication effectiveness, including email opens and contact engagement.
- Define, document, and manage processes for intaking requests and delivering communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and deliver content.
- Develop data-driven presentations and identify trends to provide actionable insights.
- Manage a content repository to ensure communication artifacts are accessible and reusable.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in communication content creation and 3+ years in communication management. Experience building and executing email campaigns is necessary.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, and list comparison. Experience with campaign management tools such as Eloqua, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, or Salesforce CRM is required. Familiarity with pulling lists from BI or data sources. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is also needed.
Abilities: Strong customer communication execution skills. Ability to create and follow detailed documentation. Aptitude for tracking and reporting on campaign performance. Excellent collaboration, patience, and problem-solving skills are essential for interacting with multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a B2B setting, particularly with service messaging.
- A background in the telecommunications industry.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for content design.
- Experience with SharePoint for internal collaboration.
- Knowledge of marketing applications is a plus (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot).
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $30.00/hour and $45.00/hour.
