Remote, Lead Java Developer/Architect - Only W2

Required Skills

• 16+ years of experience in software and application development, including at least 10 years of hands-on Java/J2EE development.
• Extensive experience leading enterprise application development as a Technical Lead, Java Lead, Solution Architect, or Application Architect.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, UML, J2EE, web services, XML, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, and open-source Java frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database 19c or later, including SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, JUnit, JavaScript, SOAP, WSDL, REST APIs, and enterprise system integration.
• Experience using RSA/RAD, Eclipse, or similar Java development environments.
• Strong skills in debugging, application performance tuning, troubleshooting, source control, and DevOps practices.
• Experience performing unit, integration, and system testing.
• 10+ years of experience in client-facing roles, including technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead development teams, review code, provide technical guidance, support production applications, and perform root-cause analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AEM Portal and Corticon Business Rules.
• Experience with BPM/workflow solutions and IBM DataStage.
• Knowledge of LDAP, JSR 168/portlet technologies, and WebSphere Process Server.
• Experience with RSA/RAD, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, TFS, or Azure DevOps.
• Background in application modernization, platform upgrades, and migration from legacy systems to modern technologies.
