Job Overview

We are seeking a Project Estimator to join the Pricing & Due Diligence team within Engineering, Construction & Supply Chain. This role is responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, developing pricing models, and supporting conceptual engineering design for a diverse portfolio of utility and energy infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and project stakeholders to ensure estimates are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and definitive cost estimates for capital projects
• Develop pricing models and cost analysis for multiple project types
• Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to quantify scope
• Support conceptual engineering design and preliminary construction planning
• Perform value engineering to identify cost optimization opportunities
• Maintain estimating databases, tools, and standard methodologies
• Conduct risk analysis and develop contingency estimates
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for competitive pricing
• Track project cost variances and update estimates through project lifecycle
• Present estimates and recommendations to management and stakeholders
• Ensure estimating activities comply with company standards and industry regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 2+ years of project estimating experience
• Experience supporting utility-scale energy or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Strong understanding of value engineering principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business
• 3+ years of estimating experience
• Experience in field engineering or construction management
• Experience with estimating tools such as PlanSwift, WinEst, CostX
• Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera P6
