Contract Duration: 18 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • PeopleSoft Admin with 5 or more years of experience in PeopleSoft administration.
  • Knowledge of PeopleTools Product Upgrades. Have gone through PeopleTools upgrade process, have experience in applying patches for included products such as Tuxedo, WebLogic etc.
  • Has worked with PeopleSoft App Designer, Change Assistant, Data Mover tools.
  • Experience with setup of Migration and Upgrade tasks in Change Assistant.
  • Worked with App Designer, Data Mover for code migration of PeopleSoft Projects.
  • Experience with Linux or shell scripting, must know how to write.
  • Experience in Business continuity plan (BPC) planning and execution.
  • Clear understanding of Datacenter resiliency and Load Balancers.
  • Working knowledge of dealing with Certificates and cert renewal.
  • Working knowledge of GIT repository.
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins or another pipeline tool.
  • Exposure to uDeploy.
  • Know how to open and work on Jira tickets.
  • Working knowledge of Service Now or similar ticketing system.
  • Good to have knowledge of Liquibase
  • Experience with code migrations

  • Load balancing concepts, certificate handling
  • Reliability Monitoring
  • Willingness to learn new tools being implemented
  • Experience triaging L1/L2 support tickets, assessing business impact, and managing outages.
  • Ability to investigate infrastructure defects using monitoring alerts, dashboards, and tools such as AppDynamics, Grafana
  • Setting up new alerts using tools such as Big Panda, Grafana etc.
  • Experience in Business continuity plan (BPC) planning and execution with clear understanding of Datacenter resiliency
  • Experience with Load Balancers such as F5 or AVI
  • Experience working in Windows environment
  • Basic understanding of Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
  • Basic knowledge of dealing with Certificates and cert renewal.
  • Basic understanding of GIT repository.
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins GIT Actions or another pipeline tool.
  • Know how to open and work on Jira tickets.
  • Know how to work on tickets in Service Now or similar ticketing system.
  • Good to have worked on PeopleSoft products.
  • Good to have exposure to uDeploy.
  • Good to have knowledge of Liquibase

What You Will Be Doing
  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Infrastructure Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

  • Knowledge transfer
  • Understanding the application and environment
  • Learning Customer Contact Management system (CRM-like functionality)
  • Ongoing Responsibilities
  • Work with platform support teams to:
  • Ramp them up in the PeopleSoft ecosystem
  • Share knowledge and improve team capability
  • Analyze system performance and:
  • Identify optimization opportunities
  • Address load balancing issues
  • Support deployment activities:
  • Understand how to deploy code from database-driven architecture
  • Over time:
  • Transition from support-focused > release & code deployment ownership
