Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The role involves interaction with senior stakeholders across various teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using data mining to extract information, identifying correlations, and preparing reports for management. This position requires strong business and data analysis skills to identify and recommend new ways to streamline business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with personnel for periodic reviews of prototypes and final products.
- Use data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns.
- Organize and transform information into comprehensible structures.
- Use data to predict trends in the customer base and the consumer population.
- Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs.
- Prepare reports and present them to management or clients.
- Identify and recommend new ways to streamline business processes.
- Monitor data quality and remove corrupt data.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 6-10 years of Business Analyst experience, demonstrating strong business and data analysis skills. The role requires interaction with senior individuals across systems, functions, external vendors, and internal technology teams. Experience with Kanban Boards for planning and tracking work is necessary.
Technical Skills:- Oracle ERP Cloud Reporting
- Fieldglass Reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA & Macros, Data Tables, Simulations, Advanced Charting, Pivot Tables & Pivot Reporting, Power Pivot, What-IF Analysis)
- Advanced Power BI skills
- MS Teams, MS Word, MS SharePoint, MS Visio, MS Access
Additional Skills:- Strong Finance Knowledge
- Documentation and visualization proficiency
- Knowledge of Agile practices and experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
