Job#: 3027344 Job Description: Role OverviewThis contingent role supports moderately complex software engineering initiatives, contributing to large-scale planning, technical problem-solving, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications. You will analyze multi-layered engineering challenges, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply strong knowledge of engineering standards, policies, and compliance requirements to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Full-Stack Development- Design, build, test, and deploy full-stack applications across UI, backend, and data layers.
- Own features from technical design through production release, ensuring performance, security, and operational readiness.
- Deliver complex enterprise builds independently while meeting engineering and security standards.
Frontend / UI Engineering- Develop modern, responsive, accessible UI experiences using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Build reusable components, shared libraries, and scalable UI architecture patterns.
- Optimize for performance, usability, and cross-browser reliability.
Backend Engineering- Build scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA.
- Develop and maintain high-quality RESTful APIs integrating UI, data, and downstream systems.
- Implement secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, and enterprise API governance.
Graph Databases & Data Integration- Design and implement graph data models (Neo4j or similar) for relationship-heavy domains.
- Develop and optimize graph queries and integrate graph data into backend services.
- Work across SQL (MSSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) within hybrid architectures.
DevOps, Cloud & Platform Engineering- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and OpenShift (OCP).
- Deploy and operate applications in AWS and enterprise container platforms.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, monitoring, and developer productivity.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration- Lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Partner with product, platform, data, and AI teams across Consumer Technologies.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and best-practice advocacy.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong frontend experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Strong backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA.
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Database expertise with SQL Server and MongoDB.
- Proficiency with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker.
- Demonstrated ability to independently deliver large, complex solutions in an enterprise environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Hands-on experience with graph databases (Neo4j, Aura).
- Experience designing knowledge graphs or relationship-driven data models.
- Exposure to AI or GenAI-enabled applications and data platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and enterprise observability tools.
- Background supporting large-scale consumer or data platform environments.
