Role Overview
We are seeking a Healthcare Operations Report Designer with a background in healthcare KPI reporting. This role focuses on designing and maintaining executive-ready Tableau dashboards and scorecards using data from Snowflake and legacy systems. The position requires translating operational and regulatory metrics into clear visualizations for leadership and ensuring reporting consistency by partnering with clinical, operational, quality, and compliance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and provide analytics across Healthplan Operations, including self-service dashboards, KPIs, and statistical analysis.
- Work with internal customers to develop requirements, use-cases, methodology, and data sources for data and BI products.
- Design and execute analytics projects, from conceptualization and data sourcing to analysis and visualization.
- Perform analyses that explain not just what happened, but why it happened and what actions should be taken.
- Collaborate with team members to define goals and KPIs to assess the success of new and existing initiatives.
- Ensure the timely delivery of accurate and error-free project reporting and analyses.
- Develop interactive user interfaces for data exploration, self-service analytics, and visual storytelling.
- Build models and deliver insights that are actionable and promote understanding of business process impacts.
Required Qualifications
Education: A master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Economics or related field.
Experience: 8+ years of related work experience is required. Experience should include creating complex SQL queries for data mining, analyzing large datasets, and working independently to manage timelines.
Technical Skills:- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Micro-strategy, or Power BI.
- Proficiency with tools for data mining, statistics, analysis, and scripting (e.g., Python, R, SSIS, Alteryx, Talend).
- Experience synthesizing and analyzing different types of datasets (e.g., demographics, workflow, financial, healthcare).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with statistical modeling of results to drive enhanced decision-making.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity.
- Experience leading work teams comprised of multi-disciplinary staff.
Work Environment
- This is a remote position. Candidates must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours.
- The contractor will use company-provided equipment.
- A stable internet connection via CATV/Cable Modem, DSL, or Fiber is required. Satellite or mobile WIFI internet connectivity is not supported.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $72.18 to $77.18 per hour. The final pay rate will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
