Role Overview
This role supports a B2B sales organization within a large enterprise environment. As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will act as a data owner and strategic partner, translating business needs into scalable reporting, dashboards, and insights used by leadership. This position sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business strategy, providing actionable insights that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end reporting, including Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs), dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Analyze overall business performance, including revenue, team output, and regional market trends.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines and reporting datasets.
- Design and deliver dashboards and data visualizations for senior stakeholders.
- Respond to ad hoc analysis requests and conduct deep dives into business performance.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other analytics teams.
- Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of total Business Intelligence experience is required, including at least 4-5 years working with complex datasets. Experience building dashboards for a minimum of 2 years is also required.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL is required. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar is necessary. Candidates must be able to independently query, transform, and validate data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting sales organizations or sales workflows.
- Exposure to AI, automation, or workflow optimization.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies.
- A background in IT, data engineering, or building data pipelines.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $64.00/hr - $74.00/hr. A benefits package is available to eligible employees.
