job summary:
This lead level Professional position is responsible to lead business system application process improvements and system enhancements. Serves as subject matter expert between vendors, business areas, Legal and IT for system projects and implementations. Serves as project lead for higher medium to large projects with high complexity and risk. Provides infrastructure prospective to projects. Serves as a mentor and coach to others.

responsibilities:
- Look at a business problem and define solutions within the new system
- Defines, contributes and/or coordinates the development and approval of the test plans.
- Executing and/or coordinates the executing of the test plans, approach and scripts.
- Documents, monitors and coordinates resolution of test issues per established processes.
- Evaluates risks associated with testing approaches and makes recommendations for alternative testing approaches.
- Help identify change management items for the training and organizational change management teams (processes changing between current state PeopleSoft and future state Workday).
- Work through deployment plan and support the implementation of Workday, from a Payroll perspective.
qualifications:
1. Workday Payroll advanced experience, with an emphasis on testing WD Payroll: writing test plan, executing test plan, payroll end-to-end testing, etc.
2. Experience coordinating with other Workday module resources where there is crossover with Payroll.
3. Payroll vendor integrations: working with inbound and outbound Workday payroll integrations/uploads.
Bachelor's Degree in a business related discipline with 8-10 years systems experience. In lieu of a degree, must have 10 years related work experience in a technical role.
Expert knowledge of vendor and/or internally developed systems, system interfaces, user functionality, and various system environments.
