Instructional Designer

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Instructional Designer to support a global manufacturing company in training its Accounting and Finance teams. The successful candidate will design and develop engaging, interactive eLearning content using Articulate for both on-demand and instructor-led training sessions. This is a hybrid position based in West Houston, TX, offering flexibility for remote work with occasional in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop eLearning modules and instructor-led training materials for Accounting and Finance teams using Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with company goals and industry standards.

• Create assessments and quizzes to measure learning outcomes.

• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics to refine and improve training programs.

• Assist in project management by adhering to timelines, budgets, and training schedules.

• Support training delivery and provide ongoing updates to course content as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Accounting, or a related field is nice to have.

• Proven experience designing training programs using Artticulate - any prior Accounting and Finance training related experience is nice to have.

• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise.

• Experience with eLearning design, learning management systems (LMS), and instructional methodologies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with financial software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ADDIE instructional design model.

Work Schedule: Hybrid, with flexibility for remote work, but occasional in-office presence required in West Houston, TX.
