Role Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage inventory for infrastructure and networking equipment. This role involves receiving, identifying, and testing equipment. The coordinator will work with third-party vendors for repairs or replacements of faulty devices and will manage the asset tracking system.
Key Responsibilities
- This person will be responsible for receiving and shipping IT Infrastructure/Networking equipment, identifying who sent it, make sure the device is working properly, etc.
- If the device is faulty, this person will need to work with the providers/3rd party infrastructure vendors to order new or find repairs.
- This person will enter all devices into Asset Panda, take inventory, organize it in the correct area, ship devices to and from the location if needed, and collect orders from the network and infrastructure teams.
- Receive and process incoming equipment, verifying contents and condition.
- Identify equipment, its origin, and ensure proper functionality.
- Coordinate with vendors for the repair or procurement of new devices as needed.
- Enter all devices into the asset management system, maintain inventory records, and organize stock.
- Manage the shipment of devices to and from various locations.
- Fulfill equipment orders from the network and infrastructure teams.
Required Qualifications
Must Have Experience:- Demonstrated experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
- Logistics/Inventory Experience
- Able to identify and sort Infrastructure equipment - such as, routers, switches, etc.
- Microsoft Excel - Vlookups, format columns, some equations
- Must have experience with operating a forklift
- Bilingual - Spanish/English
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Asset Panda software is considered an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $22.00 and $27.00 per hour. As a contract employee, you may be eligible for benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, a 401k plan, and other programs.
