Position: Sr Red Hat Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration : 6 month Contract with potential Extension
Position Overview: We have a contract opportunity for a Red Hat Engineer at a large client of ours to help with project work. The engineer would be expected to take direction from the client's Principal Engineers and work with Project Managers and Application Teams as needed during our capital projects.
MUST Haves:- 5 years experiences with Red Hat Linux
- Familiar with SELINUX
- Good knowledge of LEAPP
- Good knowledge of partitioning drives with fdisk
- Good knowledge of LVM:
- Creating physical volumes, volume groups, logical volumes.
- Extending VGs, LVs, and moving all data from one PV to another.
- Good knowledge of SUDO command access for AD groups.
- Good knowledge of VMWare and VM resources.
- Good communication skills to present planned changes.
- Good knowledge of Red Hat Satellite
- Willing to work flexible hours as CCL is a 24/7/365 organization that follows the sun.
